Kirkland & Ellis LLP is a renowned American multinational law firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Established in 1909, it is the largest law firm in the world by revenue and the seventh–largest by number of attorneys. It was the first to reach US$4 billion in revenue. As of 2021, it stands third in Am Law‘s list of profits per equity partner. While the firm was traditionally known for its litigation services, in the 2010s it expanded its services to include private equity and restructuring, alongside large–scale commercial litigation.

Notable alumni of the firm include Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and former Attorney General William Barr.
